Sağ Salim
This project aims to improve working conditions of Turkish and Syrian cotton farmers. Therefore the name 'Sağ Salim' is an Arabic and Turkish greeting given when someone returns home safely after a day at work.
The Challenge
Workforce abuse is on the rise, not only does it damage livelihoods but it hits company reputation, profit and efficiency. IN2 were tasked by Outland Denim, who source their cotton in Turkey, with coming up with a system that protected the cotton workers in the field and in the factory and that would protect Outland's reputation.
Background
Much of the workforce in Turkey is migrant (mainly from Syria) and undocumented, this opens them up to abuse.
Our Solution
IN2 understood that Outland wanted a system to connect directly to their workers, that would enable them to receive feedback directly and to act quickly, offering the workers a voice.
